FOOD

Menu

All meals will be provided by the camp staff which will be basic camp food, menu TBA.  Past entrees have included falafel, chicken, beef, salad bar, etc. Vegetarian, Gluten, and Dairy Free meals are available for those who requested them via their registration.

We provide mostly healthy choices and will make every attempt to accommodate special dietary needs within the limitation of what the camp can supply. There are often a lot of vegetarians, so that non-meat choices will be available at every meal. We have reviewed the menus with the camp in advance to make sure that there is something for everyone. It is essential that you carefully denote your dietary restrictions and allergies on the registration form.

There will be three options:

  1. Standard
  2. Vegetarian
  3. Glatt Kosher

Lunch

Those attending out-of-camp activities may pack a lunch during breakfast on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  We will provide a variety of lunch options, snacks, and fruit for you to choose.

Lunch will be served in camp for those who are not attending out-of-camp activities on Saturday.

Kosher: Is the food Kosher?

  • All ingredients Kosher with hechsher, but no mishgeach
  • Dairy/Meat separated
  • Paper plates, etc. to maintain dairy/meat separation
  • Glatt Kosher & vegan meals available at no additional cost, however only to those who specify the need at registration AND register during early bird or regular registration.  These options are not available to those who register during late registration due to our need to provide the camp with a headcount so that arrangements can be made for them.  Also, if you sign up for them, you must eat them, not the mainstream meal.
